Meet Our Team
Niraj Darpelli - CEO - Co-founder
Niraj has an experience of more than 22+ years in the Insurance & Credit domain, primarily in the Risk underwriting department. He has worked extensively across geographies in Asia, Middle east & India.
In his last stint he was based at Mumbai and was the Head of Key Account Underwriting team for the India & Middle east region, as well as managing the Small limit team for AIM region. Prior assignment includes Heading the Risk underwriting department for Asia-Pacific region at Coface & was based in Singapore. He has also worked for the Indian Export Credit Agency (ECA) –ECGC of India Limited and has experience in diverse roles including risk underwriting, claims, account management department and was one of the core & key members in setting up their factoring department
Niraj has MBA degree from the prestigious Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. Apart from several other certification, he is also a Factor Chain International (FCI)- certified credit professional
With his extensive knowledge on trade credit, sound management experience including raising several underwriting teams and broad industry connectivity, he has contributed significantly in the success of previous originations & together with the team, has managed multi billion Euro portfolio, successfully
Nithin Kumar Sunkara – Co-founder
Nithin has more than 20 years of experience in areas of banking, financial institutions and Trade Credit Insurance Industry. He has worked extensively in business development, portfolio management, handling corporate relationship & Broker management.
In his last stint, Nithin was Head of Commercial department for Indian sub-continent in Atradius, for more than a decade. Apart from Atradius, he has also worked as a Business development manager in Euler Hermes. He has set-up Trade Credit Insurance desk at Alliance Insurance broker designated as Head of Trade Credit Insurance.
In his roles as the Head of commercial underwriting as well as managing the broker desk, he has structured several large value transactions, bespoke programs as well as managed the banking programs, successfully. He has experience in raising and successfully managing the sales and account management team.
Nithin has MBA in Finance from ICFAI Business School Mumbai and graduated from St Aloysius college.
